Lead CM / Project Manager
MTZ Core Builders is a building contractor and project management contractor. MTZ started as an idea for Oscar Montanez since the time he was attending college. Although he thought Civil Engineering would be for him, he felt the desire to build with his hands. It was then when he joined the union. He eventually grew into the position of Foreman to Superintended. He understood the job and he knew this was his path. While working and having a home, a wife and three kids, he received a college degree in Construction Management. He then went on his own to get jobs and found he had a good relationship with clients and knew at his core he built with quality. A man who was raised in Sacramento is now joining the community as an industry leader.
Lydia Savala
President
Lydia has a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Human Resources. With her strong vision and leadership and communication skills, partnered up with Oscar to start MTZ Core Builders. Together they have built strong teams that have helped MTZ’s long term goals while adapting different strategies as markets change. Lydia has helped MTZ grow with her hands on marketing and social presence.
As a licensed contractor in Sacramento, we have taken home renovation projects such as kitchen and bathroom remodels. We also offer home additions and home improvements. We are also hired by local property managers who need an office building contractor and retail construction services.
